Birthdays, Group Meals and Christmas Get Togethers in Kirkham
How group bookings work, what to order for a table full of people, and why it pays to book December early.

A birthday, a catch up with friends, the family all in one place for once, or the work Christmas do: some meals need a bigger table. Here's how to plan one at Dine & Dessert on Market Square in Kirkham.
How group bookings work
For up to five people, book online in a minute. For six or more, a birthday or a party, give us a call on 01772 672935 or send a WhatsApp. Tell us how many of you there are, the date and time, and anything special you'd like, and we'll set the table up and make sure the kitchen is ready for you.
Food that's made for sharing
Greek food is perfect for a group because so much of it is designed to share. Put a few Mixed Grill Platters for Two down the middle of the table, add a meze platter with koftas, hummus, tzatziki, feta and olives, and order extra pitta. Everyone gets a taste of everything. If people prefer their own plate, there's moussaka, stifado, kleftiko, wraps and rice bowls, and our Three Course Special at £24.95 covers a starter, main and dessert from the day's selection.
Something for everyone
Vegetarians have plenty of choice with halloumi dishes, vegetable moussaka, vegetable stifado and the salads. Children are welcome and there are smaller portions such as Small Crispy Chicken & Chips. If anyone in your group has an allergy, mention it when you book and tell your server on the night, and the kitchen will talk you through the options.
Cocktails and a toast
The bar mixes Aperol Spritz, Passion Fruit Martini, Espresso Martini, Mojito and more, plus mocktails for drivers and anyone not drinking, Greek Mythos and other beers, wine and locally produced Lytham Gin. A round of cocktails is a good way to get a birthday started.
Birthday desserts
This is where we're a bit different. Our desserts counter goes back to our days as Indulge Desserts, so there are Belgian waffles, warm cookie dough, sundaes and portokalopita to finish, and desserts with candles are very much a thing here. You can also skip the meal and book a dessert night with friends.
Christmas get togethers in Kirkham
December evenings, and especially Fridays and Saturdays, are the busiest of the year for restaurants in Kirkham, so if you're planning a Christmas meal with friends, family or work, ring us early to get the date you want. A Greek meal makes a nice change from the usual turkey dinner, and sharing platters keep it relaxed. Any festive specials or Christmas opening times will go on our Facebook page first.
